Forget e-mail. Blogs and wikis are taking over as the way for team members to communicate and collaborate.
Documenting a project's progress used to be one of the most tedious tasks in project management. Often, the "official" project record was a ring binder that was out of date 10 minutes after the most recent document was added. Project requirements or product spec changes would get lost in a sea of e-mail, sometimes causing costly errors.
