The Branch held the Annual and Charter Meeting on June 14, 2003 in Philipsburg, Quebec. The forty-seven attending were treated to an interesting talk by Lewis Kreger UE, who, having continued the research of the late Allan Stratton, author of The History of Alburgh Volumes 1 & 2, was well qualified to speak about the Loyalists of Alburgh VT. Mr. Kreger has also written a book titled, Alburgh: The First Twenty Years which related the stories of those Loyalists who first settled is that area, believing it to be on British soil, and who were forced to move when Vermont became part of the United...
