NEW YORK--With the recent disclosure of Jerry McCarthy's imminent retirement as president of Zenith Sales Co., and the appointment of William Sims, former JVC consumer video division vice president, to succeed McCarthy, it is clear Zenith is rethinking its position in consumer electronics.
On the day McCarthy's retirement was reported, Zenith Electronics president and chief executive Albin Moschner said in a letter that the company would realign the consumer products sales and marketing organization.
