For 2005, GM Fleet is testing a Mil-Spec pickup from GM Defense as a police vehicle. This aspect of GM Defense is now under GM Fleet and Commercial Operations. GM Fleet is not developing a police package or special service package pick up truck specifically for law enforcement. Instead, they are checking how well an already existing pickup developed for the military will fit the needs of law enforcement.
