Where can you see trees sing in three-part harmony? The Norris Cultural Arts Center, when Rising Star Theaterworks brings "The Wizard of Oz" to the stage.

Jeanne O'Donnell, director and founder of Rising Star, said this production features about 60 students, third-graders through high school freshmen.

"It's a mix of those with a lot of talent and experience with those who are new," she said. "We publish as much as possible, before auditions. Our purpose is to bring children together who would have never met."
