The producers of the NBC sitcom took a gamble during last season's finale, uniting two more of the show's young, single New Yorkers, Chandler (Matthew Perry) and Monica (Courteney Cox), a move that could have just as easily bombed but instead has creatively reinvigorated the 5-year-old series.
