Phoenix -- Ryan Thompson did not feel a tap on his shoulder Monday morning.
He wasn't expecting one.
The Milwaukee Brewers made their first roster cut of the spring, and 11 players -- most of them young with jersey numbers like offensive linemen's -- were summoned one by one to manager Davey Lopes' office to get the bad news.
