SIMON & SCHUSTER'S trade division has embarked on a new program to visit booksellers in nine cities across the country. Unofficially dubbed "The Road Show," some 16 executives from S & S's hardcover and trade paperback divisions, as well as from Scribner and the Free Press, have traveled to Washington, D.C., Chicago, St. Louis, Raleigh/Durham, N.C., Denver, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
