SIMON & SCHUSTER president Jonathan Newcomb, who has stressed the importance of educational technology and international markets from the moment he assumed his new position last June, moved last week to give those areas greater visibility within the publishing company. Under a new alignment, Newcomb created the International, Business and Professional Group, which combines S & S's International Group with its business, training and healthcare units. Newcomb also expanded the Educational Technology Group and named a new management team to head the two units.
