Simon & Schuster has made a small divestiture abroad, selling its Young Books division in the U.K. to Dutch publishing giant Wolters Kluwer. The unit, which has annual sales of about 7[pound] million ($10.5 million), publishes supplemental books for the school and library market.
According to an S & S spokesperson, S & S sold the division because it was not a major player in the U.K. school market.
