SIMON & SCHUSTER has joined the ranks of Internet entrepreneurs with the opening of World Wide Web sites for its Macmillan Publishing USA and Higher Education divisions.
Linda Ross-Bouvier, newly appointed v-p of emerging publishing technologies at S & S, said the new cyberspace publishing outposts are "part of our strategy to use technology to market our intellectual properties in a broad range of distribution pathways, multiple-media formats and emerging markets."
