NEW YORK (FNS) -- Standard & Poor's Corp. upgraded the ratings, to single-A-plus from single-A, on $1.1 billion in Dillard Department Stores, Inc., long-term debt, citing the company's strong operating results and improved financial position.
The ratings agency also assigned the single-A-plus rating to a $50 million issue of Dillard's 8.5 percent notes due 1996 and a $50 million issue of 8.75 notes due 1998.
