Milwaukeeans may argue about the best brand of bratwurst (and how to cook them), the primo custard flavor of the day, even paper vs. plastic.
But there's no question what the darlings of fresh herbs are in this town:
Basil and rosemary.
Corner a chef you know, strike up a conversation about fresh herbs, and chances are at least one of those two will be named in the same breath as phrases like "absolutely adore" and "goes excellently with. . . ."
