Carper, 80, of 502 Village Boulevard, Mifflintown, went to be with his Lord at 2:14 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2007 at the Lewistown Hospital, where he had been a patient for the past eight days. He was born April 4, 1926 in Manheim, a son of the late Henry R. and Bertha (Heisey) Carper. On Dec. 28, 1946, he married the former Norma K.
