The Brazilian retail trade bets on Mother?s Day to boost sales of consumer electronics at 3% and 10% mainly microwave ovens, TV sets and DVD player. The traditional retail chain Casas Bahia with an R$3.6bil annual turnover, predicts a growth of 25% on sales. The opening of new units (it recently set up three new stores) will support the performance.
