The editorial by Dash and colleagues on "Resurrection of DDT: A critical appraisal" presents an interesting, and balanced perspective on the most controversial pesticide DDT1. The authors highlighted the environmental issues associated with DDT and its breakdown products such as DDE and DDD on the non targeted organisms.
