Christmas has come early to the Milwaukee Repertory Theater's Quadracci Powerhouse Theater. What a fun gift the Rep's in-the- moment production of the 1941 comedy "Arsenic and Old Lace" is for its audiences.
This may be a corny old chestnut of a play, but director James Pickering, his cast and designers approach it with so much warmth, freshness and energy, it springs to life. And as we know, life, or the lack of it, is at the heart of "Arsenic and Old Lace."
