ssica Danker Red Eagle Resources Corp. of Oklahoma City's $34 million acquisition by Fort Worth-based Lomak Petroleum Inc. has been completed, it was announced Wednesday. As a result of the acquisition, Red Eagle becomes a subsidiary of Lomak. However, in time, "we plan to merge the two companies together," said C.R. Michaels, vice chairman of Lomak. Lomak and Red Eagle stockholders approved the transaction during special meetings Wednesday morning, according to a statement released by the companies.
