DUBLIN THE much admired Irish economy does not seem to have benefited the ruling coalition in the run-up to the general election on June 6th. Although the "Celtic tiger" has been growing by 7% a year since 1994, the outgoing government trails the Fianna Fail/Progressive Democrat alliance by up to ten points, according to the opinion polls.
