Night and day. In some ways, I think my childhood couldn't be more different than that of my 10-year-old son. That fact strikes me on certain weeknights during Nickelodeon's "U-Pick Live."

I suppose the show's premise isn't that foreign to me. You have a kids' cartoon-television show with a host introducing programs and entertaining between segments. And that describes my shows, too ... the Midwest's "Garfield Goose" and "Cowboy Bob" programs. And I guess we also had "live" programs where audience members--such as those on The Bozo Show--took part in prize games.
