Those hoping for a fitting tribute to the late singer Aaliyah will be the most sorely disappointed by "Queen of the Damned." The film's other constituency, Anne Rice devotees yearning to see another of their mother-goddess's novels enshrined on the screen, will be the second shattered audience.
