Q. Our house is drafty around the windows and doors. Someone suggested using weather stripping. What's the best way to do this? A. Several types of weather stripping for windows and doors are sold at most home centers and hardware stores. A system that is effective and easy to install consists of strips of plastic with two fins that fold to a V-shape. A widely sold brand is Frost King's V Seal. A roll containing 17 feet of the material-- enough for one typical window or door--costs about $3.
