Binney & Smith marks 50th anniversary of rubbery blob with a contest to name silliest use for putty

Its first name is "Silly," so you wouldn't have expected any serious answers.
Neither did Binney & Smith, which marked the 50th anniversary of Silly Putty by asking people to suggest the silliest uses for the bouncy blob that everybody of a certain age has pressed onto the Sunday funnies at least once.
