ASHLAND Recycling of bottles, cans, and paper has begun at David Mindess School, where pupils are expecting a truck to haul away the first batch of recyclables Friday afternoon, teacher Kiera Garretson said. Pupils at the school, which has about 600 children in grades 4, 5, and 6, attended an assembly promoting a new "reduce-reuse-recycle" campaign aimed at reducing the amount of trash the school generates, she said.
