The statistics for Mar 1997 on petroleum imports and on the supply and disposition of finished motor gasoline, distillate fuel oil, residual fuel oil, jet fuel, liquefied petroleum gases, propane and propylene, and other petroleum products are presented. The total petroleum imports for Mar 1997 was up by 7% from the Mar 1996 level and 1% higher than the Feb 1997 rate. The supply of petroleum products for domestic use for Mar 1997 was slightly lower than the Mar 1996 rate.
