ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Geoff Peters has spent most of the season laboring in obscurity and playing in pain. But the Norfolk Admirals center broke out in sweet fashion Thursday, scoring a late goal to lift his team into a 1-1 tie with the Rochester Americans.
With his brother and parents watching from the stands of the Rochester War Memorial, the St. Catharines, Ont., native used a one-time shot to convert a Matt Henderson pass with six minutes to play.
