Del's dodgy district puts itself on the tourist trail AS the area's most famous - albeit fictional - son, Del Boy Trotter, wryly put it: 'The only people who missed Peckham were the Luftwaffe.' Famous perhaps for its less salubrious aspects, it is said jokingly that if you have been to this particular corner of South East London, you were going to Dulwich and got lost.
