Parthum, Mary Louise (Nee Shelton) Mary Louise was born on September 16, 1920 in New Orleans, Louisiana to her beloved parents, Byron Shelton and Margaret Louise "Lou" Shelton, who preceded her in death. She slipped quietly into God's gentle arms on September 27, 2000 after a brave struggle. Mary Louise was an accomplished organist, having graduated from Loyola University in 1943 with a degree in music education, where she was listed in the "Who's Who in American Music".
