It was a night of poetry, film, and recollected experiences when The International Solidarity Movement For a Free Palestine and SLAM!/USG held an anti-war movement gathering on Sept. 27. 2002.
The event gave students a chance to speak out against President Bush's push towards war with Iraq and the continued Israeli occupation of Palestine. Palestinians recalled their personal experiences through poetry, short films, shirts, posters, banners and pictures which represented a free Palestine.
