THE family of a man kicked to death by a teenage thug reacted with furyyesterday to the killer's 'soft touch' sentence.
At Glasgow High Court, Lady Clark ruled James Simpson was entitled to a'discounted' term of four years for killing Steven Jones.
The thug, aged 16, had attacked his 33-year-old victim - whom he did not know -during a night out, then punched and kicked him to the ground before repeatedlystamping on his head and body.
