Devils' forward Igor Larionov took part in practice Monday for the first time since he felt tightness in his groin after an intrasquad scrimmage on Sept. 14, and said he was happy with how he felt.
"I'm feeling better," Larionov said almost an hour after coming off the ice. "I was pleased with the skate today so I'm just taking it a day at a time. Pain-wise, it was just slight."
