Suspended bridge to be built onto 75-year-old structure in Milwaukee
"No one puts new wine into old wineskins, or else the new wine will burst the skins, and it will be spilled, and the skins will be destroyed. But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved." -- Luke 5:37, 38
This parable told by Jesus may have new meaning for engineers and contractors involved with a hanging bridge project north of Downtown Milwaukee. Except that structural engineers at Bloom Consultants LLC, Milwaukee, have found a way to marry old and new.
