JOHN ARCHER starred in the first Hollywood film to deal seriously with space travel, Destination Moon, one of more than 50 films in which he appeared.

The six-foot, curly haired actor also had a leading role in The Day Before Spring, an early stage musical by the My Fair Lady team of Lerner and Loewe, and a prolific career in radio.
