The Municipality of the Saints Anargyroi in Athens must be hailed for having funded the publication of two posthumous books by Spyros Apostolou (1938-91), following the three verse collections and the essay he had seen to press himself. An idealist of the old Left, working as an economist at a foreign concern, Apostolou deserves to be commented as a writer at least this once.
