DALLAS (AP) _ Fewer drivers are stopping these days at toll booths along the roads connecting downtown Dallas with its northern suburbs. Or on many of the bridges and roads in Oklahoma, Louisiana and parts of the Northeast, for that matter.

They're not breaking the law. They've been "toll-tagged."

A system marketed by Dallas-based Amtech Corp. automatically "collects" tolls through a credit account triggered by an electronic plastic tag affixed to a car's windshield. It's been in commercial use for the past several years.
