The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) presented its prestigious J.A. Piper award to Charles Bechtel, president of Harold J. Becker Co. Inc. of Dayton, OH, at its convention in February. Bechtel was president of NRCA in 1994 and has served in many capacities at the association.
NRCA also announced its Gold Circle award winners. The outstanding workmanship/low slope award was presented to D.C. Taylor Co. for the Cargill Oilseed Facility. Outstanding workmanship/steep slope went to J.S. Wagner Roofing for the Robert F. Kennedy Justice Center. Innovative solutions/new construction...
