University Wire 03-14-2000 (Northwest Missourian) (U-WIRE) MARYVILLE, Mo. -- Nationwide there has been an increase in students wanting to study in computer-related fields, in part because of the growing computer and Internet economy. In the past six years the number of students in these fields doubled at schools like Princeton, Stanford and Yale. At Northwest Missouri State University, the Computer Science/Information Systems department has increased significantly over the past five years.
