Atlas Engineering Inc. of Tallmadge, a small manufacturer of rivets, will expand significantly next month when it begins operations in a plant in Kent. The 76,000-square-foot plant at 1510 St. Clair Ave. in Kent is nearly four times the size of the 45-employee company's current plant in Tallmadge. Atlas' long-term plans for the 20,000-square-foot Tallmadge building could not be learned last week.
