NASCAR gave in Thursday, and the Indy Racing League and American Speed Association changed their minds.

In the ongoing debate over what is possible and what is desirable in light of the terrorist attacks on the country Tuesday, NASCAR President Mike Helton declared it "the right thing to do" to postpone the New Hampshire 300 and Silverado 350.
