ZENDOR.COM, the e-commerce arm of catalogue shopping group N Brown, will start producing profits from the first half of next year, chief executive Jim Martin promised today, writes Robert Lea.
Zendor - a 75-25 joint venture between Brown and GE Capital - will cost Brown less than 1 million in startup costs for this full year but is expected to start making a return with its deals to set up the internet retailing arms of New Look, River Island and eight other as- yet-unnamed major customers.
