By David Page Managing Editor Sales tax collections for 19 municipalities in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area were up for the 23rd consecutive month in January.
Area collections from January business totaled $14.99 million, up 2.9 percent from $14.57 million for January 1990, according to a monthly report on distributions to cities and towns by the Oklahoma Tax Commission. The March distribution of city sales tax collections by the Oklahoma Tax Commission is from January business.
