For a few months in 1994 it appeared that the tune Pa Gozar from the Eddie Torres CD The Mambo King Orchestra was going to be a Grammy nominee. The tune, an erotic chachachá, is the type dancers love. Unfortunately, the recording never received the air play or exposure it merited. However, it is an outstanding recording, one of the best of the year and its history may become important. More importantly, it is recorded testimony of Mitch Frohman's magic touch. It happened during the summer of 1994.
