Of the autobiographical third volumes in easy reach from where I'm sitting Bertrand Russell's and Anthony Powell's run to just 230 pages each, Casanova's Story of my Life Vol 3 stops at page 350, and only Simone de Beauvoir's prolix and tiresome Force of Circumstance (which some argue is really her third and fourth volumes merged into one) dar...
