The Maryland's Governor's Cup Series had a chilly start yesterday as jockeys rode eight races in the first leg at the Howard County-Iron Bridge Hounds Race Meet in Glenelg. Four jockeys braved the freezing rain to ride in the Howard County Hunt Cup open timber. Last year's winner, John Bosley, this time on Personamate, led the field for the majority of the three miles. Behind Bosley, Blacken Sword with David Benson, Finder's Terms with Jack Fisher and Deceptive Stroke with William Meister vied for second.
