Q. I am a young investor and, being near 16 years old, I am aware that fads come and go. But comic books have been going strong for a while now. Marvel Comics has been admitted to trading on the New York Stock Exchange. Since trading began, however, the newspapers haven't published a P-E ratio. Is that because it is new, or because it isn't earning any money? Although I am looking for a high-appreciation stock, I realize this means Marvel has a high risk.
