Here's a sobering thought: Peter Noone is 50. The gap-toothed, tousle-haired lead singer for Herman's Hermits was 15 when he toured the U.S. for the first time. These days it's the American Association of Retired Persons nipping at his British-import heels.
He plays the Harley-Davidson Roadhouse at 9:30 p.m. Thursday with former heartthrobs Davy Jones and Bobby Sherman in a "Teen Idols" tour.
"We're not really teen idols, we're just pretending to be," says Noone, speaking by phone from Southern California.
