Donald Peterson ~ 1922-2007
Donald Peterson wanted to work for only one boss: himself. His preference for self-employment led him to acquire a variety of businesses including a candy store, taxi service, bicycle rental shop and furniture store.
"He never liked working for other people. He was an entrepreneur. He never wanted to work for a boss, so he was always searching for businesses," daughter Patricia Provost said.
