Man jailed in bad check investigation By LINDA SPICE of the Journal Sentinel staff Thursday, October 19, 2000 Waukesha -- A bad check investigation at a computer store has ballooned to include possible fraudulent purchases totaling nearly $100,000 in states from here to Florida, police said Wednesday. A Florida man, arrested Tuesday at Computerized Computer Store, 2238 Blue Mound Road, was being questioned in the case after police said he allegedly attempted to use an $18,000 check to buy computer equipment.
