00-00-0000 ALL necessary preparations have been completed for the listing of Syarikat Maju Perak Bhd and Harta Perak Corp Sdn Bhd through a reverse takeover in two months' time. Maju Perak and Harta Perak chairman Datuk Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the proposal to take over second board company United Chemical Industry Bhd (UCI) was sent to a merchant banker last month. Under a Securities Commission-approved scheme, the two subsidiaries of Perak Development Corp will consolidate and salvage UCI by injecting about RM150 million worth of their current assets.
