Summary. Keys and full descriptions are presented to the species of Lysiloma found within Central America and southeast Mexico, together comprising Mesoamerica. The four species recognised - L. acapulcense, L. aurita, L. divaricata and L. latisiliqua - are widespread and morphologically variable, and are of considerable ecological and economic importance throughout the region.
